Topic Choice ~ #1The new book that I read about was called, Girl Last Seen. The main character of this book was named Kadence Mulligan. She is important because in the book she is a very famous singer, which everyone loves. This is shown when one of her fans says, "Because I'm a Kady-DId! I follow all her music videos and her fashion-tip tweets. She sings, like, oh my God, amazing! I want to be like her when I grow up." Kadence (Kady) is a really talented girl and is loved by everyone...except one person. So far thoughtout the book her personality has been static since she has continued her life like she normally did. One of Kady's friend, Lauren, helped her write songs. One day, Kady goes missing....and the last person that was with her was Lauren. Which is said, "A day passes. Major and Mrs. Mulligan have come home from Duluth. Still no sign of Kadence. They're out of their minds with worry."

Topic Choice ~ #1 CharactersThe story I read was Dido and Pa and the main character was a small girl who's name was Dido. She is an important character to the story since she is the one searching for her lost father named Pa. Dido is a shy boy at points. An example would be when the book says, "Poor little dear, may this be the last day on Earth!" This quote is important to the book since a main antagonist are the wolves in the forest which Dido and his friend must pass by. Throughout Dido's journey she beings to gain confidence within himself and takes bigger risks like no other. Dido was scared in the begining of the trip although, in the middle the author states, "Simon" she called softly. "Is that you?" This is an improvment in his personality unlike anyone else in the entire story.
Topic Choice ~ #3 (Plot)An important scene in the story would be when they were having a traditional family dinner. This is happening when Emma gets home from boarding school to spend winter vacation with her family. This scene is important because they are having family time after months not seeing their daughter. So far I think the universal theme is to spend as much time with the family while you can. Since the next day they would be gone. The character is worrying since her mother's attitude changed throughout the time that she has been gone. As stated, "She was the kind of women who people were always trying to feed" (14). I believe that they will get into a fight and then they will make up again and solve the mystery.
Topic Choice ~ #1 (Characters)The main character's name is Emma. She played the role of the daughter in the book. She is important because she has been away for months and spends time with her mother although many strange things occur. Emma is a smart since she went to boarding school. She is also caring and loving because she has always loved her mother, cared for her, and asked her father how it was going in his work at the high school. Evidence that shows that she loves her mother is when she told her mother, "Okay, I'll see you in a dew hours. Love you" (10). She is very helpful because when she got back from boarding school she helped out her mother clean the table and solve a problem that they had. So far throughout the story she is a static character because she has stayed the same as when she was a little girl. To prove this was when the author claimed that, "When I was a child, I'd come home from school and just by my posture, she could tell if i"d had a bad day, gotten into a fight with one of my friends, or done badly on a math test" (11).
Topic Choice #3 - PlotThere are many important scenes in the book but the one that really grabbed my attention was when Zoey realizes that her best friend isn't dead and that Aphrodite is faking being a fledgling when she is a actually a human. This happens while Zoey is walking through the hallway when Zoey is about to open the door and just feels someone pull her by the waist into the room. On page 29 it states that soon as she saw Aphrodite she said, "I'm not slow, and you have a whole hell of explaning to do," I said, "How did you get in here? Where is Stevie Rae? When did your mark come back? What-?" Stevie Rae then comes out from and says "Hi" to Zoey. She cannot believe that Stevie is alive but at the same time she is glad to see her best friend again after so much time. Aphrodite also confessed to Zoey that her mark is fake and that she was not a fledgling just a human because according to page 34 it states, "Aphrodite sighed, and with a weirdly slow motion-like movement, she brought the back of her hand up and wiped it across her forehead, causing the outline of the crescent moon to smear and partially rub off.". Aphrodite was not a normal human because she still had the visions that she had while being a fledgling. This explains all three characters characteristics, Zoey's is caring because all the time that her best friend was gone she still had her in her mind. On the other hand, Aphrodite is mean, selfish, and a liar because she yanked Zoey to talk to her and she only cares about herself which is why she lied about still being a fledgling when in reality she was a simple human. It helps on to create the theme because it shows you on every little action you do can show you characteristics. Zoey is in shock because she cannot believe that her best friend relived and that Aphrodite was lying about being a fledgling. Why would Aphrodite lie about her being a fledgling and tell Zoey about it when she does not even like Zoey?
Topic Choice #1 ~ CharactersThe main character in the book I am reading, Untamed, is named Zoey Redbird. She is a young teenage girl who had a regular life before she was Marked. Being Marked is being chosen to be a vampyre and start reacting to The Change. Once she got Marked she had to continue her life at The House of Night, which is a home for all vampres to help them control their given powers and prevent them from falling into a type of reaction that rejects The Change. This is caused by not getting the sufficient nutritions, exercising enough, or not being being around Adult Vampyres to help them out which can lead to death. She has a very important role because she has the power to control all five elements (Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Spirit) like no other Priests has. Evidence to prove that she controls these elements is on page 4, where she states, "Fire, come to me I need your warmth." As soon as she finished saying those words she feels heat from a hearth fire in the air. She has become the Highest Priestess ever known because of her powers. Throughout the book, Zoey is dynamic due to the fact that she can go from being a loyal girlfriend to the worst of all girlfriends. On page 2 she states, "Well, yesterday you had not one, but three boyfriends." There are much more dynamic changes throughout the book I just stated one for now.
